Anna Ceder joined Goldberg & Osborne in 2024 as District Managing Attorney of Southern Arizona. Born and raised in a small town near Tacoma, Washington, Ms. Ceder moved to Tucson in 1997 and subsequently earned both her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Arizona. After earning her undergraduate degree, she worked as a legal assistant and was motivated to become a lawyer herself.
Following law school, Ms. Ceder clerked for the Honorable Deborah Bernini at Pima County Superior Court and followed her clerkship with in-house claim litigation positions for two major insurance carriers. During those 12 years, Ms. Ceder learned the ins and outs of insurance company operations, including earning her CPCU designation, while litigating multiple cases.
Following this, Ms. Ceder continued to defend insureds on behalf of insurance companies for private law firms before leaving defense practice in 2023. She worked for a small plaintiffs’ firm before coming to G&O and has maintained an alternative dispute resolution practice since 2021.
Ms. Ceder’s trial record is extensive. She has tried nearly 20 cases to verdict and has an excellent reputation in the legal community. Ms. Ceder is on the founding board of Step Up to Justice. She has been recognized multiple times for her pro bono contributions and is committed to helping clients confidently navigate the justice system.
It was the commitment to accessing justice that drove Ms. Ceder to leave defense work to represent claimants who have been injured by the negligence of someone else. Ms. Ceder strives to make her clients feel as comfortable as possible during their difficult times, and she applies her knowledge and experience to each case to reach the best possible result.
In her spare time, Ms. Ceder enjoys spending time with her family – traveling, watching Arizona Wildcats sports, and playing games.
