Arizona Governor Doug Ducey has appointed Goldberg & Osborne LLP attorney Greg Sakall as a judge of the Pima County Superior Court. He will replace recently retired Judge Carmine Cornelio.
Greg has worked with the firm as a personal injury attorney since 2004 from the Tucson and Sierra Vista offices. Prior to joining Goldberg & Osborne, Greg spent three years as a clerk for Judge William Browning and Judge Cindy Jorgenson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona.
In addition to his duties for Goldberg & Osborne LLP, Greg has been an adjunct professor at the University of Arizona College of Law since 2004 and also teaches an undergraduate course on the United States Supreme Court.
“Greg is an intelligent and impressive litigator and has demonstrated his commitment to the citizens of Pima County,” said Governor Ducey. “His service as an adjunct law professor at the University of Arizona College of Law for the last 13 years is especially impressive, given that he also maintains a busy law practice.”
Goldberg & Osborne LLP congratulates Judge Greg Sakall on his appointment and the outstanding work he’s done and will continue to do for the citizens of Arizona.
