School: Dan Shelton earned a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and a law degree from the University of Arizona School of Law.
Mr. Shelton completed his undergraduate education at Oklahoma State University in 1977, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Mr. Shelton attended the University of Arizona School of Law where he graduated with a Juris Doctorate degree in 1981. During law school he participated in the Moot Court Program and was an instructor in administrative law in the College of Business and Public Administration.
Mr. Shelton has been a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association since 1981. He has been a member of the Arizona Bar Association since 1982. Mr. Shelton was also admitted to practice before the United States District Court in the Western and Eastern Districts of Oklahoma and the District of Arizona, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for both the Ninth and Tenth Circuits. Mr. Shelton is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association.
Mr. Shelton has represented plaintiffs in personal injury matters since 1981. Since 1996, he has almost exclusively limited his practice to the representation of plaintiffs in medical malpractice litigation. Mr. Shelton has earned the designation of a Certified Specialist in the area of Injury and Wrongful Death Litigation bestowed by the State Bar of Arizona Board of Legal Specialization.
