Shawnee C. Melnick

School: Shawnee earned his bachelor’s and law degrees from the University of Arizona.

Shawnee is a native of Southern Arizona. In 2015, he graduated from the University of Arizona, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing.

Shawnee began law school at the University of Arizona in the Fall of 2016. While in law school, Shawnee was a finalist in the annual Jenkes Oral Argument Competition two years in a row, and a Note Editor for the Arizona Law Review. Shawnee also had the opportunity to litigate in the Tucson Superior Court, Justice Court, and Juvenile Court through the many professional clinics he participated in during law school.

Additionally, Shawnee was a professional musician and actor before deciding to pursue a career in law. His musical career spanned both coasts with almost a decade spent in New York City. Now, Shawnee lives with his four children and wonderful wife in Tucson, Arizona.

Shawnee joined Goldberg & Osborne and the Arizona State Bar in 2019.
